It’s 2:30am. In case you have already realized this, I am going to After - Parties every night. This is in addition to protests, rallies, and the DNC proper. This is some thing I didn’t do in 2004 (I went to one). I use these parties to have fun, but also to decompress. As it turns out, the days are so busy and the evenings are so full of eloquent speakers, I am taking a lot of time to process what has happened during the day.
Three things you should know:
!.)My camera battery died, so I will try to post pictures later today.
2.) So many speakers with so much information. I am not a Poli Sci major, and I need to take time to really take into account what they are saying.
3.) These are long days. I interview with the press a minimum of three time per day. Many times more. I am child protection worker , not a journalist.
That being said, I am not complaining. Some of the delegates volunteered to plant trees today as part of Mayor Hickenlooper’s 1 million tree initiative. In addition to this, I had a great time cooling down (temperature) Curtis Park (at least by 2025).
I took so many pictures of upper regiment of politicians and events, that I ran out of battery power on my camera. I guess I will have to post tomorrow.
BTW. Talk about a day of unexpected events. I will have to fill you in with pictures.
After my battery charges ….
Regards,
Jonathan
PS I met several Congressmen. I also complimented Sen. Leahy for his role in Batman.
